Privacy Policy — Seasons of Gifting

Seasons of Gifting (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs the store at seasonsofgifting.shop, where we sell the printable digital product “24 Days of Cozy Christmas” and related seasonal printable products. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you buy from us or sign up for a free sample, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

When you buy something:

• Your name and email address, given at checkout.
• What you bought, when, and how much you paid (your order details).

Your payment details are handled by Stripe, not by us. Card payments at our checkout are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe — it never touches, and is never stored on, our store’s systems. Stripe shares the outcome of the payment with us (paid, refunded, failed) so we can fulfil your order.

When you sign up for the free sample:

• Your email address, so we can send the sample and occasional seasonal notes (see §3).

When you email us for support:

• Your email address and whatever you include in your message, so we can help you.

Automatically, when you browse the store:

• Basic technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and approximate location (country/region), collected through cookies and similar tools — see §5.

2. What we never collect: children’s data

Our products are bought by adults, and the printables themselves involve no accounts, apps, or data collection from children.

The personalisation in our products is self-serve: names on the Santa letter, certificate, voucher and tags are written in by hand at home, or typed by you into an editable template. Those names are entered by you, in your home or in the template — they never pass through us, and we never receive your child’s name, photo, or any personal details about your children. Please don’t send us information about your children by email; we don’t need it to help you.

3. How we use your information

• To deliver your order — your download is available on the confirmation screen straight after checkout, and we email you the download links.
• To help you — if a file won’t open or print properly, we use your email to send a corrected copy.
• Seasonal emails — if you bought from us or signed up for the free sample, we may occasionally email you seasonal notes and news about new products. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them.
• To run and improve the store — understanding which pages and products people visit helps us fix problems and plan future products.
• For our business records — keeping order records we need for accounting and tax purposes.

We do not use your information for anything unrelated to running this store.

4. We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the store — for example our payment processor (Stripe), our store and checkout platform, and our email delivery service — and only so they can do their job (process your payment, deliver your files, send your emails). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

5. Cookies, in plain terms

Our store uses cookies (small files stored in your browser) to:

• Make the store and checkout work (for example, remembering what’s in your order).
• Understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the store, so we can improve it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The store should still work, though checkout features may be less smooth.

6. How long we keep information

• Order records: kept for as long as we need them to provide your downloads and support, and to meet our accounting and tax obligations.
• Email list: until you unsubscribe, after which we remove you from the mailing list.
• Support emails: kept while they are useful for helping you, then deleted.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct it if it’s wrong.
• Delete it, where we are not required to keep it (for example, basic order records we must keep for tax purposes).

You can also unsubscribe from seasonal emails at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to us. To make any of these requests, email support@seasonsofgifting.shop and we’ll take care of it.

8. Keeping information safe

We use reputable providers for payments, checkout, and email, and take reasonable care with the information we hold. No online system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute security — but we only collect what we need, and we never see or store your full card details (see §1).

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the updated version on this page and update the date at the top. Big changes will be easy to spot.
